Our mission is to drive continuous improvement in responsible commodity sourcing.
Our vision is to pave the way for environmentally and socially conscious supply chain management by cultivating a network of forward-thinking organisations dedicated to actively improving responsible commodity sourcing and supply chain management.
Our value proposition is that we guide and support our members in their due diligence monitoring of supply chains and support producers to enhance their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
Our Governance
RECOSI is governed by its members, who elect a Board of Directors to lead the organisation. The day-to-day operations are run and managed by the Secretariat.

The RECOSI Board of Directors is the key governing body, currently composed of nine Directors. The Board provides strategic oversight and works closely with the Secretariat.

Technical and Advisory Committee
The Technical and Advisory Committee (TAC) is a multi-stakeholder committee composed of members from civil society, academia, industry, and individual representatives from RECOSI Member companies. The TAC supports and advances RECOSI’s purpose and values by providing expert analysis and peer review of technical aspects of the sector-specific programmes.
